Senior Actuarial Officer – Pricing (Code: SAO)
Main responsibilities as required by the job:
* Business partner for new product developments, providing comprehensive support, from draft design, pricing til submission to MoF, approval and subsequent monitoring & analysis
* Develop standard methodology for new developments
* Drives consistency of actuarial pricing through common methodology, tools and core assumptions
* Ensures regular actuarial pricing reviews are performed, documented and action plans agreed
* Perform regular pricing of market situations
* Provides strategic actuarial input to deliver group business objectives
Qualifications:
* Minimum education: University Degree in Statistics, with actuarial professional title and insurance background will be an advantage
* Minimum 3 years insurance industry actuarial experience, in particular product development / pricing
* Life insurance / JV company experience is a plus
* Good understanding of actuarial pricing principles
* Knowledge of applying actuarial methods to practical business problems
* Experienced PC-user, has knowledge in Statistical programmes, Ms Power Point, Ms Access and above average in Ms. Excel knowledge
* Fluent in speaking and writing in English
* Team player, used to work against deadlines, structured & systematical work style
* Familiar in Research & Development

* Implement, maintain and enhance the Risk Management framework and culture
* Ensure a consistent approach to operational risk across the different business areas within the organization. This includes facilitating workshops with business areas, documenting outcomes to monitor the risk trends and to build a risk profile for the organization by applying a consistent methodology
* Implement and maintain the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework, provide active support and coordination to functional areas to prepare for business disruptions and the subsequent recovery phase, drive testing of Business Continuity Plans
* Implement standards and policies on Fraud Prevention, Security of people, property, Executive protection and Special Event security
* Business partner for Compliance, providing comprehensive support, from Compliance risk assessment, analysis of implementation and monitoring
Qualifications:
* Minimum education: University Degree, with Insurance or Risk or Process Management background will be an advantage
